JURISDICTIONAL MATTERS – CHALLENGES & OPPORTUNITIES
This session will focus on the moral and legal responsibilities of government to assist in finding solutions for this difficult social issue. This session will examine the constant struggle to balance individual liberty and the collective responsibility for shelter and housing services.

About the Subcommittee
The Community Dialogue on Homelessness Subcommittee was formed in June 2016. The role of this Social Policy Advisory Committee subcommittee was to develop a platform for community dialogue on homelessness. The speakers’ series will provide a forum for sharing data and relevant information and an opportunity for community members to engage in respectful dialogue on each topic while hearing a range of perspectives.
