About Us
Operated by Douglas College, the WorkBC Centre delivers Employment Services to residents in the Ridge-Meadows area, including Maple Ridge, Pitt Meadows, Katzie and Whonnock.
The WorkBC Centre staff are experienced helping community members find work. Currently, our staff speak more than 10 languages including: French, Mandarin, Punjabi and Spanish. Come into the Centre and use our resource room – you can look for jobs, get help with your resumes and cover letters, get career planning assistance, and learn about training and courses as well as work experience possibilities. We are here to help you find your next job! We are available to meet you in-person or online.

Our team of Career Coaches, Employment Placement Specialists, Facilitators and Career Advisors bring many years of combined experience to our Centre and serve multiple client groups including youth, Indigenous, Francophones, persons with disabilities, immigrants, survivors of violence and abuse, persons with multiple barriers to employment and people living in remote areas.
