Plant native shrubs & remove invasive blackberry THIS Sunday At Trethewey Channel in Maple Ridge Oct 20th from 9:30 AM to 1 PM! Can’t make it on Oct 20th or want to sign up for another activity as well? We will be there again on Oct 27th!! Why Join Us? Connect with Nature: Enjoy the fresh air and beautiful surroundings of the Alouette River. Meet New People: Make friends and be part of a passionate community. Make a Difference: Help support local salmon habitats and improve the environment. Get Active: This is a great opportunity for some healthy exercise! Fun for All: Bring your family, friends, colleagues and anyone you think might be interested — ALL ages and abilities welcome. NO experience is necessary! What to Expect: Refreshments, tools, and gloves will be provided. Enjoy a short instruction session, followed by hands-on planting & invasive removal We’ll also have a snack break halfway through to refuel! Details: Meeting Spot: 13193 216 St, Maple Ridge (follow the signs). What to Bring: Long pants, sturdy boots, a water bottle, and a rain jacket (just in case!). This event will run RAIN OR SHINE, so come prepared to have fun while making a positive impact!
