Plant native shrubs & remove invasive blackberry! Why Join Us? Connect with Nature: Enjoy the fresh air and beautiful surroundings of the Alouette River. Meet New People: Make friends and be part of a passionate community. Make a Difference: Help support local salmon habitats and improve the environment. Get Active: This is a great opportunity for some healthy exercise! Fun for All: Bring your family, friends, colleagues and anyone you think might be interested — ALL ages and abilities welcome. NO experience is necessary! What to Expect: Refreshments, tools, and gloves will be provided. Enjoy a short instruction session, followed by hands-on planting & invasive removal We’ll also have a snack break halfway through to refuel! Details: Meeting Spot: 13193 216 St, Maple Ridge (follow the signs). What to Bring: Long pants, sturdy boots, a water bottle, and a rain jacket (just in case!).
