- Increased awareness of Canada's increasingly diverse population.
- Increased awareness and understanding of diversity in the workplace.
- Increased respect for the value of diversity.
- Information about how to expand the concepts from the course to workplaces, interactions with persons served, other staff, and the community.
Instructor:
The instructor for this class, Lyn Policha, has more than 40 years experience in the fields of nursing, youth corrections, and management consulting. She is the policy analyst for WJS, and has been an in-house trainer for the company for more than 30 years providing training in communications, report writing, CAFAS (Child & Adolescent Functional Assessment), and proposal writing in addition to diversity awareness. She has also provided training to a other agencies, community boards and businesses on a variety of topics.More Information:
