Description
On July 1st, 2014 Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL) came into force.
CASL is one of the toughest anti-spam laws of its kind in the world and has the potential to impact any individual or organization that emails, texts, messages or communicates electronically with a recipient, whether they are an organization or an individual.
How does CASL impact your organization?

Workshop Outline:
Canada’s new spam law rewrites the rules of how businesses can communicate electronically. This is a major piece of legislation that creates sizeable corporate and personal liability for all of us. Some of you may already be working on CASL compliance, but many others may just be learning about the true extent of this law and how it will impact our businesses. Business in Vancouver estimates the cost of CASL compliance at between $30,000 and $50,000. It doesn’t have to be this costly.
This workshop will provide you with a clear overview of the rules that CASL puts in place, helping you get clear on your obligations and what you need to do to become compliant. Paula will share simple, easy to implement strategies that you can undertake right away to put your business on the right footing.
