SUMMARY:2016 COMMUNITY EVENT | 14th Annual Country Benefit Christmas Concert - Meals on Wheels
DESCRIPTION:The Christmas Country Benefit concert is produced by and features renowned country music artist Rob Hess. The concert is an annual fundraiser for our our Meals on Wheels Program.\n\n\n\nIn addition\, there is a silent auction that takes place in the lobby of The ACT (11:30 - approx 3:00 pm) The proceeds from our silent auction will go towards the variety of programs and services we offer to individuals\, children\, youth and families in the communities of Maple Ridge and Pitt Meadows. The number of people reaching out to us for services continues to increase and our agency is always looking for ways to generate additional funds to meet the need of programs that:\n\n\n	supports victims of crime and their families\n	brings lunches to feed school children so they don't go without\n	supports seniors to live independently\n	counsels individuals and families to make positive changes\n	helps individuals with mental illness\n	assists those with disabilities to learn new skills
