Campfire reminders
Although the fire risk has declined due to the recent rainfall and cooler weather, residents are advised to continue to use caution with any campfire and take the following safety measures:
Never leave a fire unattended
Make sure that any fire is completely extinguished
Never light a campfire or keep it burning during windy conditions
Maintain a fireguard around your campfire (any fire smaller than 0.5 metres high by 0.5 metres wide)

Any person found contravening the fire ban may be fined up to $1150. Call 1-800-663-5555 toll-free or *5555 to report a wildfire.
