Although the next Business Excellence Awards won't be until next year, ticket sales have already begun for what Ridge Meadows Chamber of Commerce CEO Kristi Maier calls the best awards gala the chamber has ever thrown.

This annual celebration honours Maple Ridge and Pitt Meadows businesses, with awards being handed out across a variety of categories. 

A total of 11 awards will be distributed throughout the evening, with several other forms of entertainment to enjoy as well, including a silent auction.

Plus, attendees will also be able to enjoy a tasty dinner provided by Humble Roots in addition to a variety of sweet treats from Vanilla Bean Bake Shop.

The entire SKY Hangar will be transformed into a scene straight out of one of the most famous children's fantasy stories of all time.

"The theme is 'Welcome to Wonderland' and will feature some Alice in Wonderland stuff," said Maier. "We went all out last year, but we made it even better this time."

Maier said she expects both tickets and sponsorships to go quite fast, with both of them selling out at last year's Business Excellence Awards.
 

Individual tickets for the event are $149 for chamber members and $179 for non-members, but tables of eight can also be purchased for $1,192 for members and $1,432 for non-members, with both table options including two bottles of wine.

The 2025 Business Excellence Awards take place at SKY Hangar at the Pitt Meadows Regional Airport on March 8 at 4:45 p.m.
