The Ridge Meadows Chamber of Commerce is hosting an increasing number of events, with some popular nights on the calendar soon.

Next month brings Business After Hours at The Patch Brewery on Feb. 20. Originally a members-only event, the chamber will now open the doors to non-members for $35 plus GST. Chamber members pay $20. Admission includes one drink and appetizers.

The chamber promotes it as an opportunity to network and connect at the popular new brewery at the historic Laity Farm (12745 Laity St.), from 5-7 p.m.Spaces are limited, and tickets are available online at business.ridgemeadowschamber.com

The chamber is looking for items and experiences to feature in the silent auction at the Ridge Meadows Chamber Business Excellence Awards Gala, happening on March 8 at the SKY Helicopters hangar.

Donations will support the chamber, and also showcase business products and services. Items can include gift baskets, services, unique experiences, or products with a minimum value of $100. Those wanting to contribute can contact dara@ridgemeadowschamber.com before Feb. 28.

The event is being done to a Wonderland theme, with a best-dressed contest to recognize the most dazzling outfit.

This week, the chamber hosted "Breakfast & Business: Understanding Your Bottom Line," on Jan. 22 at The ACT, featuring a speaker from MNP who guided business owners in understanding their bottom line, and mastering their business finances.
