City of Maple Ridge and Chamber Sign New Three-Year Service Agreement
Strengthening Local Business Through Partnership

The Ridge Meadows Chamber of Commerce is proud to announce the signing of a new three-year Service Agreement with the City of Maple Ridge, reinforcing our shared commitment to supporting and growing our vibrant local business community.

On June 25, 2025, the City of Maple Ridge Council approved the updated agreement, which outlines the continued partnership between the City and the Chamber to provide valuable support, advocacy, and promotion for local businesses.

Working Together for a Stronger Business Ecosystem

This renewed agreement enables the Chamber to continue acting as a key resource for entrepreneurs and business owners, fostering economic growth through strategic initiatives, networking opportunities, and community engagement.

“Our partnership with the City is essential to the work we do,” said Lauren Granger, Executive Director of the Ridge Meadows Chamber of Commerce. “With this agreement in place, we’re excited to expand our programs and provide even more value to local businesses over the next three years.”

Supporting Economic Development

The Service Agreement formalizes the collaborative relationship between the City and the Chamber, allowing for joint efforts in areas such as:

• Business attraction and retention

• Promoting investment and local spending

• Hosting events and workshops that support professional development

• Advocating on behalf of the business community at all levels of government

Mayor Dan Ruimy expressed strong support for the Chamber’s role in the community, noting that, “The Chamber is a vital partner in building a thriving, inclusive, and sustainable local economy. We’re pleased to continue working together to serve our business community.”
