In response to the latest tariffs imposed by U.S. President Donald Trump on Canadian goods, the Ridge Meadows Chamber is calling on local businesses and consumers to rally together in support of our local economy.
“Now more than ever, it’s important to shop local and know your brands,” says CEO, Kristi Maier. “As Canadians, we don’t take threats lightly - we tend to come together. We will keep our spending local, stand with our businesses, and support them wherever we can. Chambers exist to be the voice of business, and our voice will be loud and clear.”
The Ridge Meadows Chamber encourages consumers to prioritize Canadian-made products and services, reinforcing the resilience of local businesses in the face of international trade challenges. The Chamber remains committed to advocating for its members and working with all levels of government to protect and strengthen the local economy.
